Does it have to be so?

It is sad and hurtful when people are cold and judgmental. It makes me see why the world is in the state it's in. This lack of understanding and tolerance for others definitely can make the world an ominous place to be in.

Maybe if we all just tried a little harder to be more understanding despite differences, and instead decide to spread around a bit more joy, laughter and smiles... The world can be a beautiful place.

Dear Melina,
You're quite right..I was actually thinking about the same issue: and it actually applies to the World status today and to our personal relationships as well..
Why don't we accept each others with our differencies, and similarities, with our good and bad stuff...
Why do we have to be jugdmental all the way..
Why not trying to understand, and accept the other...
I don't think it's difficult at all

Not only she is right she also practices her thoughts stated here. Melina makes an effort to say hello and spread the joy to everyone that enters the TIG office, well everyone except me.

Ok honestly I was being serious. But I couldn't post something without making a joke ( maybe I have OCD ).

view source for original rant

What I will always admire is the one group that in general always welcomes, accepts, shares and teaches anyone regardless of their differnces. The only thing that hackers judge you on is your willingness to learn. You want to learn and you will be taught, irrespective of your nationality, ethnicity, political stance, gender, sexual preference, social status, religion, philosophies or choice of operating system.

In the end it is all about giving the "bit more joy, laughter and smiles" regardless if you have been given any. There is no overt solution to this subtle yet devastating problem.

I dont mean to make joke of you its just my way of spreading the smiles :P

Maybe Tolerance is not the way...
"To tolerate the existence of the other and to allow him to be different is not that much. When we tolerate, we are just granting and this is not a relationship of equality, but superiority of one on the other. We should create a relationship among the people where the tolerance and the intolerance were excluded". José Saramago

Dear,
you're the beauty of the world, beacause you're beautiful and because you, more than they that are judging, want to be the beauty of the world...
